Day 1 in Las Vegas!

Day NUMERO UNO in Las Vegas! What it do?

Long a-s-s drive! I hate being in the car for more than 45 minutes... Sheesh! It is what it is though. I have a little bit of a headache. I am unpacking so that my room can look beautifulll (with three L's). I have to get rid of the old and bring in the new, ya know? Anywho... I'm going to call it an "early night" because I want to be nice and fresh for my day tomorrow!

Hmmm... I bet you this summer is going to fly by quickly. I can feel it!

Goodbye AZ...

... But only for now ;)

Reality TV [[A Keeper? Or a No-Go?]]

Reality TV has its pros and cons. For one, it is taking away money from actual actors/actresses which of course would be a negative. Reality TV seems to make everyone "famous" and it sometimes even makes some of the people on the shows look dumb. But in my opinion it can be pretty entertaining. For awhile the only shows that I was watching was "I Love Ray J", "Tough Love" and "I Love Money 2" lol. I guess VH1 is sort of the business right now. I must admit, I miss these shows a little lol. So do my fellow classmates.

You really can't knock reality television though. It came into the game a few years back and it is still here. Do I think that it will be here forever? No... or at least not as popular. For instance, soap operas used to be much more popular than what they are now (not including the ones on BET/MTV which are still well liked). Hmm... I guess time will only tell. But until then... I am ready for the next season of something good lol.

Ladii C

I have a lot to say... I bet I could talk your ear off. Anyway... Back to "bloggin". Yup, I'm loving this! 5am wake... 8am I'm leaving AZ. (Still haven't finished packing)

Obama in Arizona

Oh yes, it is true. Obama will be speaking at ASU's graduation ceremony tomorrow, Wednesday May 13th. You gotta love this guy! Unfortunately, I am not graduating yet and I will not be able to make it to the ceremony....

... Instead I will be in route to LAS VEGAS!! (I am excited for a reason... )

Thanks David ;)

Loving this pic that was made for me!

Music [[Keri Hilson v.s. Beyonce]]

Hmmm... When I heard that Keri Hilson dissed Beyonce I immediately knocked Keri out of the question! She was no longer a person that I would listen to because I have so much respect for Beyonce. Beyonce has been in the game much, much longer and to me her voice is way stronger, therefore making Keri come off to me as a HATER.

But since Keri Hilson denied that she was trying to spark beef with Beyonce, and since Beyonce did not seem to have beef with Keri... I said "What the heck" and I decided to listen to Keri's cd. I like it!! Every song is pretty cool...

Make Love - Keri Hilson

Beyonce is still a Diva though...

... and heyyyy... I have a picture like this too :))

Britney Spears: For The Record

Britney Spears: For the Record aired a while back (like in November or something). It re-aired the other day which was my inspiration to write about it. If you have not seen it then you should. I have a lot of respect for Britney Spears. She is a human being like the rest of us and she deserves her privacy and respect!

She's amazing.....
which made me think back and reflect on the late musian, Aaliyah.

Celebrity Look-Alikes

Zoe Saldana and Jada Pinkett Smith

I swear! These two look so much a like.

Zoe or Jada?

Zoe or Jada?

Zoe or Jada?

lol this is too funny!

Movies To Anticipate

This summer I will definitely be spotted at the movie theater!

1.) Terminator Salvation

This movie is going to be good. I can feel it in my tummy.

As far as "horror" movies go... in my opinion they have been pretty lame lately! However, there is a huge chance that I will spend money to see this one... ((only if there will be other people there to experience this frightful movie with me!))
2.) Drag Me To Hell

This movie may or may not be good. It's one of those films that I am going to have to take a chance with and then discuss it later.

I LOVE comedies lol. I love to laugh sooo...
3.) Hangover

4.) The Proposal

5.) Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

6.) All the boys love Mandy Lane (I have no doubt this movie will be good!!)

7.) The Orphan (hmm... looks creepy!)

8.) The Ugly Truth (HAAAAAAA... that is all I have got to say!)

9.) G.I. Joe

THE MOVIE I WANT TO SEE THE MOST IS..................... DRUM ROLL PLEASE LOL..........

10.) Transformers 2. It's going to be bomb! I'm not too sure when it comes out though but when it does, I am in there like swim wear, ya feel me? ;)

Quick Movie Reviews [[Ladii C's Opinions]]

The last few movies that I have seen were Crank: High Voltage, the latest Fast and Furious flick, X-men Origins: Wolverine, Obsessed, and Star Trek (2009).

Let's keep this as short and simple as possible.

Crank: High Voltage
In my opinion, this movie sucked! It was odd, twisted, and quite unique, however I could not wait until it was over. I guess that you can say that it was just not my type of movie, though it did have a lot of action in it. I, as a part of the audience, simply could not relate to the movie in any shape or form. There was a lot of nudity in the movie (Pimps and Hoes, etc), and violence. Of course, then again I have never seen any of the previous "Crank" movies if that would have even had made a difference! However, the characters within the movie were extremely abstract, from street hookers to drag queens, and much more outrageous-ness. With that, I give the movie zero thumbs up. I MIGHT watch it again when it airs on television. But I would never be mad to miss it.

Fast and Furious
Paul Walker and Vin Diesal are an AWESOME (yes awesome) pair in the movie "Fast and Furious. It's almost as if this movie will never get old! If you have seen the first two flicks, or even if you have not, you will still more than likely like the latest one. I give this movie two thumbs up, plus I will probably buy it when it comes on dvd to add it to my magnificent movie collection.

Hmm... Vin is one helluvah attractive man ;) (haha)... Even though the angle above is not his best!! Nah, but the movie is great! Make sure you go and see this!!

X-men Origins: Wolverine
I do not believe that any individual can go wrong with an X-Men flick. They are so full of action and excitement. Well, this movie in specific was pretty intense! I really enjoyed it. It was really good. Enough said... :)

I wonder who will be the next X-Men Origin's focus...
Either way, I can not wait to see it because I am sure that the next one will be just as exciting!

Obsessed
I love Beyonce as a singer. However, I hate to say this but this movie was extremely predictable. The title of the movie gave the whole entire movie away. There was nothing marvelous about this film. A lady had an obsession on her married boss. Big whoop! It kind of reminded me of a movie(s) that I have seen in the past. Since I have so much respect for Beyonce though, I will continue to support her. This movie gets a "maybe" as far as buying it on dvd. However, the film would have had a greater impact on the audience if the title were different and if it had more twists instead of just being so ordinary. Perhaps Beyonce could have been the crazy one in the movie or something just to change it up. This movie was definitely regular.

But... my favorite line in the movie was when Beyonce says "You think you crazy? I'll show you crazy". Haha you go girl.

I am loving her dress! She is such a Diva!

Star Trek (2009)
I liked this movie! It was very different! It had action and comedy, and it even had a little drama and romance. It was definitely not a boring film. I kind of wanted Uhura (Zoe Saldana) to actually fall in love with James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and change his wild/player ways. It did not go down that way though and I was surprised! Hmmm... Seems like Spock (Zachary Quinto) ended up being the better man!

She's a great actress!

RANDOM-NESS.......
I know this is random! But was I the only person who liked the last "Planet of the Apes" movie? In my opinion, they need to make another one of those!

One store in Arizona ((Mesa)) that you MUST check out is New World Culture which is located on 1241 East Broadway Road (between Broadway & Stapley Dr). More to come...

Lauren London's Pregnant

Is Lauren London really pregnant with Lil Wayne's baby?

I was extremely shocked the other day to hear the rumor that Lauren London is 4-5 months pregnant with Lil Wayne's baby. Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet. We all know that Lil Wayne is "swagg'd up" so it must have been his personality that captured the heart of the beautiful actress (haha)! But perhaps there isn't really any pregnancy after all. Even if it is true, will she actually keep it the baby? Well, if it is true, congrats to her and hopefully everything works out well!

Blog Spot... Its official

Hmm... I have never been much of a blogger but I decided this would be day # 1 of my "true blog" life. With that, I suggest that you all keep up with my posts! Unlike twitter, I'm on this!
